Wagner Vineyards and The Wagner Valley Brewing Company sits on East side of Seneca Lake in the town of Lodi. This estate winery has been open since 1979 so it has been on the Seneca Lake wine Trail for more than a quarter century.

The winery of Dr. Konstantin Frank is considered by many to be the Grand Daddy of the wineries in the Finger Lakes.  No it is not as old as the Pleasant Valley Wine Company, or as embattled as Bully Hill, nor was it the first to gain major international recognition (like Gold Seal was).  It is however the work and determination of Dr.

French names on American wineries often sounds a bit like putting on airs. In some cases they may be, but in the case of Lamoreaux Landing Wine Cellars it has more to do with a nearby small hamlet on Seneca Lake that bears the same name, than any French lineage. Lamoreaux Landing, the wine cellar, is located on the Eastern side of Seneca Lake and is the first winery to the North on the very winery dense section of the wine trail known as the Banana Belt.

Three new wineries have erupted in a field that used to just house Nagy's New Land Vineyard Just south of Geneva off Rt 96A. New Lands' tasting room had been the lone winery in the northeast quadrant of Seneca Lake for almost 20 years.
